As you familiarize yourself with our support services, below are some resources and outlines to welcome you to your new support team.


PERS Service
The VRI Care Center is here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you have to do is press your button, and we will come over the device and ask ‘Do you need help?’

  • If you say yes, we will dispatch appropriate assistance
  • If you say no, we will confirm and verify your information
  • If we are unable to confirm, we will call your home phone, responders, and emergency responders until we are able to confirm your well-being

Vitals Service.
With Vitals Monitoring support, our team is here to help you manage your health! Each day, use your new device to send in your reading. Our team will monitor for any significant changes and follow up when appropriate to support you.

VRI wants to ensure you understand the uses of your health care information as well as your rights. You can review our Privacy Policy here.

The VRI Care Center will connect you to your support team on your terms – from friends and family for non-emergent support to local emergency responders.

You can always contact our team to adjust your call list at any time.

General Questions

If you press your button by mistake, it is ok. Please speak with the VRI Care Center over your device to confirm your well-being. If for any reason we are unable to communicate with you over the device, we will call you on the number you provided. If we do not communicate with you, we will continue to call down your call list until we reach someone to check on you.

If your device has fall detection included, it will send an alert to the VRI Care Center if it detects a fall. At times it may go off by mistake, and that is ok. Just confirm that you are ok when a representative contacts you. It is important to note that fall detection is not perfect. Therefore, we encourage you to press your button anytime you need us

If your device is a mobile unit, it also has location detection. The accuracy of location detection is dependent on reliable cellular coverage. We will always verify your location with you if we need to send help.

Whenever you need help, please press your button.

Additionally, we encourage you to press the button that you wear at least once a month to test it to ensure your device works properly
